For example, it is possible to reduce a shaft with a previous roughness of Rz=1.6μm to a roughness of Rz=0.8μm or less in 15 seconds. (Refer to the diagram) Additionally, since film polishing is a contour-following process, it is possible to improve roughness without altering the original shape.
